Sony's new super-cardioid condenser shotgun microphone- ECM-VG1 exudes excellent sound reproduction with a highly sensitivity, low noise and a wide and flat frequency response. Built compact, light and with a newly developed high quality windshield, it is an ideal choice for all sound enthusiasts.

The windscreen's rigid construction creates space between the microphone and outer part of the windscreen, minimizing the transfer of energy from the windscreen to the microphone itself. Also included are a microphone boom mount, spacer and 2 stand adaptors. A low-cut roll off switch further minimizes low-frequency noise due to wind noise, mechanical noise and proximity effect. The ECM-VG1 requires external 40 to 52V phantom power, and is terminated with an XLR output connector.

The SM4-R is a suspension shock mount for mounting various RØDE microphones onto a mic stand or boompole with 3/8" or 5/8" thread.

The SM4-R is equipped with dual Rycote Lyre mounts to ensure maximum isolation from any handling vibrations, four possible mounting points to suit the complete range of compatible RØDE shotgun microphones, and integrated cable management clip.

The stand mount is angle adjustable and can be locked into position to ensure sturdy and reliable mic positioning.
