The Lightbridge 2.4G Full HD Video Downlink with OSD and Control from DJI is designed to provide a complete FPV wireless relay solution, combining the video downlink, OSD (on screen display) data, and control signal in one system. It features two key components, one for the air end and one for the ground end.

The air end component is a module that installs in or on the aircraft and features HDMI and composite video inputs. It also communicates with the flight computer, sending pilot inputs from the radio controller (transmitter) to the flight controller and receiving flight data from the instrumentation for the sake of the OSD. The air end module can also send a control signal to the gimbal for in-flight operation of camera movements.

The ground end component features the form factor of a wireless router. It can be battery powered from an internal 4000 mAh battery that lasts up to 4.5 hours or an external 3S to 6S Li-Po battery, available separately. To operate the aircraft, the system allows you to use your regular 2.4 GHz radio controller and will also receive a gimbal control signal. To view the video feed and OSD overlay you will need an Android mobile device running the Lightbridge app, a free download from DJI. There is a powered USB port on the ground end to connect your mobile device and keep its battery from running down.

Requires Compatible Flight Control System
Lightbridge works with select DJI multi-rotor flight control systems. Compatible flight controllers included: A2, WooKong-M, Naza-M V2, and Phantom 2

HDMI and AV Video Input with Full HD Transmission
The air-end module supports both analog composite and HDMI signals. When using HDMI resolutions of to 1080p at 30 fps can be transmitted

Low Latency
The video link features a latency of approximately 150ms. This makes the system suitable for FPV flying and aerial videography, where real-time feedback is essential

Up to One Mile Wireless Range
The air end module supports a line-of-sight range of up to a mile, depending on environmental conditions and other variables

Note: By law, in the U.S. and many other countries, pilot visual contact with the aircraft must be maintained at all times.

Built-in 2.4G Remote Control Link
Not only does Lightbridge relay video and OSD data back to the ground end, it also provides a way of extending the link between the transmitter (hand-held radio controller) and the aircraft. Plus, the Lightbridge system relays the gimbal control signal

4.5 Hour Battery Life for Ground End
The ground-end features a transceiver that is similar to a Wi-Fi router. It can be wall-powered, but since you will most likely be using it in the field there is also a built-in 4000 mAh battery lasting up to 4.5 hours. The battery can be charged with the supplied AC adapter or a 3S to 6S Li-Po battery

USB 2.0 Port for Mobile Device
The USB port allows your Android smartphone or tablet to communicate with the ground end, and will display video from the camera on the mobile device's screen. Plus the port is powered so you don't have to worry about running down your device's battery. For Android users it is recommended you have Android 4.1.2 or above

Built-In OSD
The OSD (on screen display) is natively part of the Lightbridge system meaning a separate iOSD module is not required. The OSD supplies telemetry data supplied by the flight computer, including, attitude/relative position, height, distance, horizontal and vertical speed, flight mode, power levels, signal strength, and GPS strength

Anti-Interference Technology
Up to 8 downlinks can be connected for parallel streaming. Each can work independently without interference as long as proper spacing is maintained between them

Multi-Device Operation
A single air system can transmit to multiple ground systems, sending video to multiple screens at once. One ground system will send the control signal while additional ground systems receive the video signal only

Advanced Security
Guards against third-party interception of the wireless link or loss of control over the aircraft to a third party. Plus encryption can be setup through the Lightbridge app
