Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's a cable. It does its job as advertised. I can however only speak highly of Michael and the team at Videoguys!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Handy connector Pretty simple item. Was delivered on time and functioned as intended. If you're looking to hook up a tablet or Mobile to a mixer via XLR, this is one way to do it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job Does the job and appears to be rugged enough construction. Perhaps a tad on the short side though, no doubt enough for most applications, but be aware that the 30cm length includes the plugs so the cable itself is more like 20cm of play only. I had to buy a second 2' version. No fault on the product, but just something to be aware of.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does its job nicely I was thrilled to buy this cable as I was using a Sony HDR-FX1E HDV Camcorder, which is a good camera but doesn't have XLR inputs. This cable allows a standard external microphone to plug into the camera.
By adding the extra connections, there is naturally potential loss of audio quality, but it's still an improvement on the camcorder's built-in microphone.
The Stereo to XLR 3-pin should adapt any camcorders and rescue any filmmakers who find themselves in the position I was in, with a mic and a camera which refuse to co-operate.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Male to 3 Pin XLR female lead This is a great product that come in varying lengths. I chose a shorter length as I am using it plugged into an external mcrophone for interviewing people and needed it to neatly tuck under the chair so it wouldnt be a hazard. It does everyithing I wanted it to. It is great quality, I needed my recordings to be stored in museums and libraries and this equipment has helped me to achieve that.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Getting audio into a camcorder/DSLR If you need to feed an XLR mic/cable into a camcorder or DSLR, this is what you need. I prefer these ones with the short cable as they are easy to pack/store: we have plenty of XLR cables of various lengths already.
