No complaints, but this a very basic(and affordable) product. Folds down to less than 30 cms or thereabouts, which is handy for me because I am a photo-journalist and film-maker who travels by motorbike. (I have modified the bike with extra luggage racks and bags.) At full extension, this lightstand appears to be about a metre to four-foot high, but you can find the exact spec's yourself easily enough. Holds an external camera flash (such as a Canon or Nikon Speedlite) easily with a Manfrotto 'LiteTite' device or the 'Swivel Umbrella Adapter' made by Seamless Photo. For use in windy conditions, a sandbag at the foot of the lightstand is recommended and will give you added safety. There is no swivel function on the lightstand itself, so if you ever need to angle lights (or light modifiers) UP or DOWN - especially down - you need to add a Swivel head like the aforementioned Manfrotto Lite-Tite. That's what I needed to did to this product to get it to work for my needs. (I can angle my Speedlites UP using the bounce flash head on the Speedlite, but you can't angle a bounce head DOWN.
