The case is really just too large, if it lost the so called storage compartments which from the write ups and hyperbole appears is removable it would be actually quite useful. However it's like being a pregnant elephant carrying around the F8 in this case. I am not completely sure why or even what you might use the case for. Field recording I use shotgun mics in blimps realistically these are no going to fit in the storage compartments, besides if I want additional gear on hand I don't necessarily want to carry it with me all the time. Go back to the drawing board and just design a protective case for the F8. Don't waste your money on it until you've seen how useless it is.
