Using our online system to create a quotation which is valid for 14 days.
We developed a simple self service system that allows Government Departments, Educational institutes, and Corporate companies, to obtain a quick quotation request, by following these simple steps.
- To create an Online Quotation, add the product(s) you wish a quote on to your shopping cart as if you were placing an order.
- After adding all the items to your shopping cart click "View Shopping Cart"
- On the Shopping Cart Page, instead of selecting the "Proceed to Checkout" button, click the "Request a Quote" button instead. (see below example)
You will then be redirected to the Login Page (if you're not already logged in) and you will be asked to log into your account. (see below)
If you don't have an account you will then need to create one, at this step. We require this information to capture all your details, so we can provide you with accurate shipping costs, and also if we needed to discuss particulars of the request with you.
Once you have logged into or created your account, you will then be re-directed to the Quotations Submission Page where you can submit your quote request.
All the items in your cart will be visible on this page (see below). You can also add any comments to the request, and select what your preferred method of payment will be.
Once the quote has been submitted, a Quote ID will be applied to it, (Shown as QU-XXXXX) which you can reference in any correspondence with us. A Confirmation of the request will also be emailed to you.
Once received by us, we will review your request and return to you with our most competitive quote.
Please allow up to 24hrs for Processing.
You will get a follow-up e-mail (Subject will read: Your Quote, QU-XXXXX has been completed).
Once you review your quote, you can "Accept"it via logging into your Account Center or modifying it by calling us during business hours.
The Beholder DS2-A is designed specifically for professional filmmakers looking for a single handheld stabilizer for a large range of small cameras weighing up to 4 lbs. The DS2-A features a unique angled roll motor arm, which allows you to have a better view of the camera’s screen while using the gimbal. In addition, the DS2-A also features a 60 second Auto-Sweep mode, which allows you to program a 60 second camera movement. The Beholder DS2-A is lightweight, easy to use, and can be carried in your camera bag. It is also versatile enough to be used with a DSLR, mirrorless camera, GoPro, or smartphone.
Angled Motor Arm
The DS2-A is the first Ikan Beholder gimbal to feature an angled roll motor arm that gives you a better view of the camera’s screen. This makes it easier to frame your shots and follow the action.
The DS2-A features a 360 degree rotation brushless motor on the yaw axis for a higher range of mobility.
Designed for DSLR and Mirrorless Cameras
With a payload of up to 4 lbs. the DS2-A has the ability to stabilize a wide range of today’s popular DSLR & mirrorless cameras including the Canon 5D Mark IV, Canon 6D, Canon 7D, Sony a6300, Sony a7SII, Panasonic GH5, GoPro, or smartphone.
Using a 32-bit controller with a 12-bit encoder, the DS2-A uses an adaptive PID algorithm to produce an efficient handheld stabilizer. This means that the gimbal will respond faster, balance easier, and have greater battery life.
In Lock Mode, the yaw, pitch, and roll axis work together to keep the camera pointed in one direction. The camera's composition will stay the same no matter how you move the handle.
Point & Lock
Quickly lock your camera into any position by manually pointing and holding it in any direction. After a few seconds, the camera will lock and hold its position until it is reset back to default.
Switch to Inverted Mode at any time by simply flipping the handle over the camera. Inverted Mode can be operated in conjunction with any of the Lock and Follow Modes.
Multiple Follow Modes
The DS2-A features 3 different follow modes. In Yaw-Axis Follow Mode, the DS2-A will only follow your pan movements. In Pitch and Yaw-Axis Follow mode, the DS2 will follow your pan and tilt movements. Finally, the 3-Axis Follow Mode gives you full control allowing you to pan, tilt, and roll.
60 Second Auto-Sweep
The DS2 has a 60 second auto-sweep feature that allows you to program a 60 second movement. Position the camera at the end point, and then press the mode button 5 times. Then, position the camera at the start point and let the DS2 do the rest! The camera will move from one point to the other in a 60 second time frame.
OLED Status Display
A display screen located on the handle conveniently provides you with the battery life and current operating mode.
Easy to Use
With a newly designed quick-release baseplate system, the DS2-A is easy to balance without any tools.
Multiple Mounting Options
The DS2-A handle comes with two 1/4”-20 mounts that are perfect for mounting accessories such as a light, microphone, or monitor. A 3/8”-16 thread located on the bottom allows you to securely mount the DS2-A to a tripod, jib, or dual handle support system such as the Ikan DGH.
