The Rode SoundField NT-SF1 is an ambisonic microphone created to deliver precise and clear 360° sound reproduction for recordists in virtual reality, film production, and audio for video games. A four-channel, A-format output is provided by four 1/2" TF45C cardioid condenser capsules connected to an XLR 10-pin connector. With a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz, each capsule is powered by 48 VDC phantom power. The SoundField by Rode ambisonic processor plug-in is available for download and supports versatile B-format modification of polar patterns and output format. The NT-SF1 comes with a unique shock mount, a sphere windscreen, a furry wind cover, and a breakout cable that transforms the XLR 10-pin output into four regular XLR 3-pin connectors.
