The BM7 II DS 7" High Bright Monitor with Wireless Camera Control from PortKeys has a 1920 x 1080 display and supports up to 1080p definition video, making it bright for outdoor use. The BM7 II DS has a tough aluminium frame and a maximum brightness of 2200 cd/m2. It also has a contrast ratio of 1000:1. The primary use of the monitor is the capability to remotely operate your camera utilising Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or an optional control wire, depending on the model of your camera. Additionally, it can be used to manage lens motors like Tilta's Nucleus M/N.
You may watch your log footage in the colour space or palette of your choice, thanks to support for 3D LUTs. One 3G-SDI input, one 3G-SDI output, one HDMI input, one HDMI output, a 3.5mm headphone audio output, and a USB-A port for loading 3D LUTs or updating firmware are all included with this monitor. Off-axis viewing is possible with a 170° angle without colour or contrast alterations.
The integrated image display tools include a waveform, a histogram, focus peaking, false colour, 3G-SDI to HDMI cross conversion, image flip, and adjustable aspect ratios. This extremely bright monitor has two Sony L-series battery plates that you can use to power it or the provided DC connection to connect it to a D-Tap power source. You may support the monitor from whichever side is ideal for each arrangement, thanks to the four 1/4"-20 threads.
