The Synology DiskStation DS124 1-Bay NAS Enclosure is a compact and reliable data hub designed to simplify data centralisation, organisation, and sharing. Powered by Synology DiskStation Manager (DSM), it provides license-free solutions to create a secure private cloud, streamline access to files across multiple devices, and enable seamless collaboration with colleagues or clients. Supporting 3.5" and 2.5" SATA hard drives and SSDs, the DS124 allows you to store and manage a large library of files while supporting up to 2048 user accounts and 1500 concurrent connections.

Driven by a 1.7 GHz Realtek RTD1619B quad-core processor and 1 GB of DDR4 memory, the DS124 ensures smooth access to frequently used files and applications. Connectivity is supported by an integrated Gigabit Ethernet port and two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports for external devices. With DSM, you can also access your files remotely via Synology’s iOS and Android apps, while RAID Basic support provides an additional layer of storage flexibility.

Engineered for quiet and efficient operation, the DS124 features a 60 x 60 mm cooling fan and a noise-dampening design rated at just 19 dBA. Energy-saving features, including scheduled power-on/off cycles and drive hibernation, help reduce operational costs. The enclosure operates on 100–240 VAC at 50/60 Hz and includes a complete accessory pack, a 36 W AC power adapter, and an RJ45 LAN cable. A limited 2-year warranty backs it.
