Telestream Wirecast Studio: MAC is everything you need to stream live video from your desktop to the world. Wirecast is ideal for broadcasting professional-looking live internet shows, news, online gaming, sporting events, concerts, church services, corporate meetings, lectures and much more.

This download version of Telestream Wirecast Studio 6 is for installation on Mac. Wirecast Studio 6 is live switching and streaming software that supports an unlimited number of input sources from live camera feeds, iOS 8 mobile devices, computer desktops, and more. Not only can it do basic switching, in software you can add titles, lower thirds, and other graphical elements to create professional grade programs. The built-in streaming encoder supports H.264, x264, and Windows Media, and can deliver over the Internet via RTMP, RTP, and MMS compatible CDNs. In addition, a local copy can be recorded in ProRes or MJPEG.

New features for version 6 include Playlists with media editing, the Wirecast Cam app for iOS 8 that allows wireless streaming from a compatible Apple mobile device, NewBlue Titler Pro integration, the ability to incorporate a Twitter feed, additional keyboard shortcuts, 64-bit support for better performance, and Retina Display (2880 x 1800) support on Mac.

Wirecast Studio is designed to appeal to all user groups, including house of worship, sports, education, and news programs. The software is scalable, able to adapt to the hardware requirements for a particular production - whether one camera is being used or ten.

What's New for Version 6?

Playlists
Queue a list of multiple videos, images, audio or live shots to play successively. This is great for adding commercial breaks, streaming archived content during off hours, or it can be used to rotate live camera views. A separate playlist window lets you create playlists and see what's scheduled. Drag-and-drop new content, trim and edit recorded video, and set what happens upon completion of the playlist - return to your last live shot, loop content, hold last shot, or display current preview window

Media Editing
Trim and edit your recorded media (including replays) from the new preview window. With any piece of media you can custom configure its length, and set in and out points. Zoom in on the timeline for more precise editing

iOS 8 Cameras with Wirecast Cam
Wirecast 6 integrates with a free iOS 8 app - Wirecast Cam. Download the app and use any iPhone (4S or newer) or iPad connected to the Wi-Fi network as an ingest source into Wirecast

NewBlue Titler Pro Integration from Source Settings
Create infinite title styles for lower thirds with the GPU-accelerated NewBlue Titler Pro for Wirecast. Stylize your titles with custom bevels, textures, layer blending, lighting control, and even animation. An array of templates is included to get you started (plug-in is available separately)

Twitter Feed
Add Twitter messages directly to your broadcast. The new social media editor allows you to search tweets by text string, user name, hashtag, or user timeline and select only the ones you'd like to display. Using Wirecast's layers, overlay Social media messages on your live or recorded shots

Audio Preview
Check your audio before it goes live. Preview the audio of any shot when it's in the preview window

More Keyboard Shortcuts for Shots
Use new keyboards shortcuts for faster switching, shot set-up, and production

Recoverable File Format
With Wirecast 6, in case of an interruption or crash to your system, you can recover your recording up to the point of the crash

64-Bit Support
Wirecast now operates in 64-bit mode, which improves memory usage and overall performance

Retina Display Support
For Mac, Wirecast 6 now displays onscreen in full 2880 x 1800-resolution
