The new Panasonic Lumix 14-140mm F3.5 - 5.6 Mat Black lens, a versatile lens for shooting everything from landscapes to sports photos, an interchangeable lens suitable for shooting everything from vast, open landscapes to action packed sports photos.

Wide and long zoom range, yet compact and lightweight
Complying with the Micro Four Thirds System standard, the LUMIX G VARIO 14-140mm / F3.5-5.6 ASPH. / POWER O.I.S. (H-FS14140) offers a wide and long zoom range of 14-140mm (35mm camera equivalent: 28-280mm) in a stylishly compact and lightweight form. The lens has high versatility and mobility and can be used to capture subjects up close or for shooting impressive portraits with beautifully defocused backgrounds.

High optical performance featuring 3 aspherical lenses and 2 ED lenses
Comprising of 14 elements in 12 groups, the lens system features three aspherical lenses and two ED (Extra-low Dispersion) lenses to achieve dramatic downsizing despite its powerful 10x optical zoom, while minimising distortion and chromatic aberration.

POWER O.I.S. for greater correction performance
The POWER O.I.S ( Optical Image Stabiliser) boasts double repression power compared to the MEGA O.I.S. It is particularly effective for a low-frequency vibration, which is physically generated when pressing the shutter button or when shooting at night with a slow shutter speed. This greatly improves the quality of shots taken at night or indoors where flash cannot be used, or where the photographer doesn't want to use flash because it would spoil the mood. It captures beautiful photos in situations that previously resulted in blurring.

Smooth, silent operation with inner focus drive system and stepping motor
Incorporating an inner focus drive system and stepping motor, the Lumix G Vario 14-140mm / F3.5-5.6 ASPH. / POWER O.I.S. (H-FS14140) is capable of smooth, silent operation to work with the camera’s high-speed, high-precision contrast AF system for both photo and video recording. It is also compatible with the sensor drive at max. 240 fps to take maximum advantage of cameras with high-speed AF such as DMC-GH3 and the new DMC-G6.

Nano Surface Coating Technology
Panasonic have applied an extra-low refractive index coating with nano-sized structure on the surface of the lens. The resulting pictures are clear, with dramatic reduction of ghosts and flare.

Aspherical lenses
These lenses prevent spherical and distortion aberrations, so higher magnification can be achieved with fewer lenses. Resulting in smaller size and weight, these lenses feature the high dimensional accuracy of Panasonic’s cutting-edge production technologies, including concave lenses that measure just 0.3mm at their thinnest part.

Designed to compensate for hands-shake ‘blur’, the MEGA O.I.S’s internal LSI compensates by processing the output of the gyrosensors at approximately 4,000 times a second. What you see in the Live View Finder or LCD image is what you get in the shot (especially effective when using a zoom lens).

Multi-coating Process
In addition to a standard broadband anti-reflection coating, Lumix G/Leica DG lenses reduce the reflection of light entering at an angle. Widely used on fisheye and ultra-wide-angle lenses, this coating greatly improves results when shooting against a light source, resulting in high quality images with superb clarity.
