The Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 14-150mm f4-5.6 II lens is the ideal lens for the photographer looking for a lightweight one-lens camera solution

The Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 14-150mm f4-5.6 II lens is the ideal lens for the photographer looking for a lightweight one-lens camera solution.

The compact, lightweight, and portable 10.7x zoom lens now comes in a splashproof and dustproof construction. ZERO (Zuiko Extra-low Reflection Optical) Coating is applied to the lens surface to thoroughly eliminate ghosts and flares. This enables clear image quality even in backlit or other unfavourable conditions.

Splashproof and dustproof 10.7x high-powered zoom lens
Hermetically sealed with materials that are breathable yet protect against the ingress of dust and splashes, this lens has a construction that allow use in harsh environments. A mere 285 g weight is achieved for excellent portability while maintaining the high-powered zoom.

Shoot from as close as 33cm at the telephoto-end
0.44x magnification (35mm equivalent) tele-macro photography is achieved. This feature is useful for background defocusing effects.

Advanced technologies realise high image quality and a slim form
A lens design of 15 elements in 11 groups (DSA lens, EDA lens, ED lens, HR lens, E-HR lens, etc.) enables a compact form with an excellent depictive performance at all zoom ranges.

MSC mechanism realising fast and quiet AF
A screw drive mechanism is used for quick, smooth, quiet, and high-precision autofocusing. The MSC mechanism incorporated in this lens is the fruit of advanced optical design technology developed to enable autofocusing with a lightweight lens element.

Driving the focusing lens using a sub-micron precision metallic shaft and feed screw
The gears, which are the cause of operational noises, have been removed. A sub-micron precision metal axis (shaft) and feed screw are used for efficient, direct driving of the lightweight focusing lens. This enables faster and quieter autofocusing.
