Versatile wireless systems for those who sing, speak or play instruments with up to 42 MHz tuning bandwidth in a stable UHF range and fast, simultaneous setup of up to 12 linked systems. Engineered for professional live sound: Rugged all-in-one wireless system for guitar and bass. Robust bodypack transmitter and Ci1 instrument cable for daily use on stage.

The Sennheiser EW 100 G4-Ci1 is a simple-to-install rackmount wireless system that provides bass and guitar players playing in small to medium-sized venues like concert stages, places of worship, theatres, and clubs with dependable, high-quality wireless sound.

A robust, full-metal chassis houses a genuine diversity, half-rack receiver in the EW 100 G4-Ci1. The receiver's auto-scan feature looks for a clear, interference-free channel for your audio transmission by scanning a large 42 MHz UHF tuning range with 1680 selectable frequencies. Musicians will appreciate the added ease of the inbuilt guitar tuner.

The lightweight bodypack transmitter and your instrument are connected by a Ci 1 cable that is part of this system. The transmitter has a fixed 30mW RF power output, a transmission range of up to 330', and can run for up to 8 hours on two AA batteries. With the receivers connected for quick, multi-channel frequency setting, up to 12 wireless channels can operate at once in the same area.

Previous evolution systems are backwards compatible with the EW 100 G4-Ci1. G4/G3/G2/G1 receivers as well as bodypack, portable, and plug-on transmitters can be combined. Moreover, it works with EW 300/500 systems.

Ci 1 Cable and Bodypack Transmitter for Freedom on Stage

The 4' long Ci 1 cable connects the 1/4" output of your guitar or bass to the bodypack transmitter's lockable 3.5mm input.
The transmitter's adjustable input sensitivity is compatible with both passive and active electronic instruments, as well as line-level audio.

The tough, all-metal transmitter has a lockout feature that prevents unauthorised adjustments during a performance and a configurable mute function. A lighted LCD shows important data and enables quick menu access. A brief press of the Sync button initiates infrared synchronisation between the transmitter and receiver.

Two AA batteries or a rechargeable BA 2015 Accupack battery are used to power the SK 100 G4 (available separately). Without removing it from the transmitter, the Accupack can be recharged using side connections, although this requires the L 2015 quick-charging unit (available separately).

Easy-to-Operate Receiver with True-Diversity Reception

The sturdy, metal EM 100 receiver has a black-and-white Screen with strong contrast. The display shows the linked transmitter's battery level and has an efficient menu system with a dedicated Escape button for easy menu navigation.

The system includes one user bank with up to 12 user-programmable frequencies and 20 fixed frequency banks with up to 12 suitable frequency presets each.

The EM 100 receiver's true-diversity reception evaluates incoming signals on two independent receiver circuits to prevent interference and guarantee superior RF quality. Sennheiser's exclusive HDX compander technology optimises the microphone's signal-to-noise ratio while avoiding RF noise to provide crystal clear audio.

You can modify the frequency response of the output sound using the built-in equalisation; you can lower the bass range and raise the treble range. In order to match the audio input of your mixing board or PA system, the receiver also has an adjustable output level range of 48 dB.

A balanced XLR output and an unbalanced 1/4" output are both located on the back panel. Installation of the rackmount is made possible by a kit. The device has adapters for the EU, US, UK, Korea, Australia, and China in addition to a worldwide power supply.

Fast Multi-Channel Setup for Expanded System

Two RJ10 data networking connections enable you to daisy-chain up to 12 receivers and easily complete a frequency setting for the entire multi-channel system using the Quick Setup function, simplifying and speeding up your process.
A maximum of 20 receivers can be added to the setup if the frequencies are explicitly assigned. There is an RJ10 cable provided.

Enhance the Performance of Your System

You can expand your system by employing up to four EM 100 receivers coupled to a single pair of remote antennas by using the detachable antennas with BNC connections. For this arrangement, an ASA 214 active antenna splitter is necessary (available separately).

Your system's range can be extended and its immunity to interference improved by adding two A 2003 UHF directional antennas or two A 1031-U omnidirectional antennas.

Add Functionality to Your System

To enable you to modify your EW system as your demands change, Sennheiser offers a selection of lavalier, headset, and portable microphone options.

  • The discrete ME 2-II and MKE 2 lavalier mics provide exceptional clarity in spoken word applications.
  • The lightweight ME 3-II headset mic provides exceptional clarity in spoken-word applications.
  • The SKM 100 handheld transmitter is available with three different mic capsule options for presenters and performers who prefer the flexibility of a handheld microphone.
