A robust, full-metal chassis houses a genuine diversity, half-rack receiver in the EW 100 G4-865-S. The receiver's auto-scan feature looks for a clear, interference-free channel for your audio transmission by scanning a large 42 MHz UHF tuning range with 1680 selectable frequencies.

The handheld SKM 100 G4-S transmitter in this system features an interchangeable MME 865 condenser super-cardioid capsule that is designed for speech and clear, present voices. The handheld transmitter has a fixed 30mW RF power output, a transmission range of up to 330', and can run for up to 8 hours on two AA batteries. With the receivers connected, up to 12 wireless microphones can function at once in the same area and quickly switch between multiple channels of frequency.

The EW 100 G4-865-S is backward-compatible with previous evolution systems. You can mix and match G4/G3/G2/G1 receivers or bodypack, handheld, and plug-on transmitters. It is also compatible with EW 300/500 systems.

Previous evolution systems are backwards compatible with the EW 100 G4-865-S. G4/G3/G2/G1 receivers as well as bodypack, portable, and plug-on transmitters can be combined. Moreover, it works with EW 300/500 systems.
