The ZED-6 is a six-input analogue mixer that was created to bring the distinctive Allen & Heath sensibility to a small and portable design. This unit is appropriate for small venues, hotels, churches, and schools, as well as solo performers, seminars, and small bands.

The Allen & Heath GS2-R24-inspired preamps used in the ZED-6 are designed to be low noise, warm, and have a lot of headroom. Together with 48V phantom power for the two mic inputs, the unit also includes built-in two-band MusiQ EQs. Due to the ZED-6's two high-impedance guitar inputs, guitarists do not need to carry around a separate DI box. There are two 1/4" stereo line-level inputs on channels three and four.

Via two XLR outputs or headphones, you can use the mixer's eight-LED metre to continuously monitor its outputs. Simply click the PFL button at the bottom of each channel strip to hear a sound source before adding it to the audible mix.
