The SmallRig x Potato Jet TRIBEX SE Tripod Kit is a compact and lightweight tripod system designed for fast and efficient setup, providing reliable support, making it ideal for travel, professional shoots, and content creation. Featuring hydraulic clutch leg extension technology, the tripod allows rapid deployment, enabling you to extend and lock all three legs simultaneously with a single motion. Despite its portable build, the TRIBEX SE supports payloads up to 6 kg (13.2 lb), while the legs alone can hold up to 15 kg (33 lb).
Crafted from durable aluminium alloy, the tripod provides an adjustable working height from 25 cm to 168 cm (9.8" to 66.1") when used with the included fluid head. Its lightweight construction, weighing only 3.7 kg (8.1 lb), makes it perfect for on-the-go creators. Rubber feet enhance grip and stability on a variety of surfaces, and the tripod folds down to just 71 cm (27.9") for easy transport in the included carry bag.
The versatile fluid head offers smooth 360° panning and a tilt range of +90° to -65°, with stepless damping for both tilt and pan movements. It supports a maximum payload of 6 kg and features a fixed counterbalance system. Switching between a Manfrotto 501-style quick release plate and a DJI RS-style plate is seamless with the built-in touch-and-go locking mechanism. The quick release plate includes both 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 camera screws, ensuring compatibility with most cameras.
Additional features include a black clutch handle, a knob lock for the centre column, dual bubble levels on both the head and legs for accurate setup, and a detachable pan bar that can be mounted on either side of the head.
