Pickup Orders (9.00AM - 4.00PM)
Videoguys Australia’s Pick-Up will be open for Click and Collect from 21st October 2020.
The restrictions currently in place for Contactless Pick & Collect are below:
Your order must be fully paid and marked as "Pickup" in your account on our website.
Please wait until you receive a "Ready For Dispatch" email before arriving to collect your order

Invoices will be provided via email only (no paper invoices will be provided).
Warehouse staff will not be able to provide sales or product advice.
Orders for Delivery
We are currently processing and receiving an extremely high volume of orders. We have recently increased the size of our team and are processing orders as quickly and as safely as possible and appreciate your patience during these times.
StarTrack our courier delivery service partner is experiencing severe service and delivery shortfalls. This has resulted in both extended delays on package deliveries, and inaccurate or delayed tracking information once packages are handed onto the courier service. The StarTrack customer service team may not be aware of this issue and may provide inaccurate information. Unfortunately, these issues are out of our control.
If your order has been marked "DISPATCHED", this means your order has been collected by our StarTrack driver and is on its way to you.
Please Note: If you have selected an “Express” delivery option, please be aware that this is a service offered by StarTrack and only applies once your package has been passed onto the courier. This service does not relate to Videoguys Australia's internal order processing. We can not refund the shipping cost if the delays are caused by StarTrack’s service.

We have recently increased the size of our team to aid the increased amount of enquires accordingly. Please be patient as our team is working through all inquiries as quickly as possible.
Behaviour
Videoguys Australia accepts zero tolerance for abusive behaviour in written, verbal, and face to face communication. Any such behaviour will result in the termination of communication and/or removal from our premises.
We understand your frustration and concern and all of our new, existing, and temporary team members are working to their best abilities during this difficult and unsure time. Inflammatory behaviour towards them is unnecessary and unaccepted.

Due to high demand, you may see a higher-than-normal number of items labelled “Coming Soon", "More on the Way" or "Out of Stock”. We are re-stocking as fast as we can. If you need assistance finding an alternative from available inventory, our sales and customer service teams are available to answer your questions via phone or email.

Using our online system to create a quotation which is valid for 14 days.
We developed a simple self service system that allows Government Departments, Educational institutes, and Corporate companies, to obtain a quick quotation request, by following these simple steps.
- To create an Online Quotation, add the product(s) you wish a quote on to your shopping cart as if you were placing an order.
- After adding all the items to your shopping cart click "View Shopping Cart"
- On the Shopping Cart Page, instead of selecting the "Proceed to Checkout" button, click the "Request a Quote" button instead. (see below example)
You will then be redirected to the Login Page (if you're not already logged in) and you will be asked to log into your account. (see below)
If you don't have an account you will then need to create one, at this step. We require this information to capture all your details, so we can provide you with accurate shipping costs, and also if we needed to discuss particulars of the request with you.
Once you have logged into or created your account, you will then be re-directed to the Quotations Submission Page where you can submit your quote request.
All the items in your cart will be visible on this page (see below). You can also add any comments to the request, and select what your preferred method of payment will be.
Once the quote has been submitted, a Quote ID will be applied to it, (Shown as QU-XXXXX) which you can reference in any correspondence with us. A Confirmation of the request will also be emailed to you.
Once received by us, we will review your request and return to you with our most competitive quote.
Please allow up to 24hrs for Processing.
You will get a follow-up e-mail (Subject will read: Your Quote, QU-XXXXX has been completed).
Once you review your quote, you can "Accept"it via logging into your Account Center or modifying it by calling us during business hours.
The Modular Windshield Kit is the professionals' choice when maximum isolation from wind and handling noise is required. This complete modular system can be configured to allow almost any microphone to be shock-mounted and provided with varying degrees of windshielding. Components may be ordered separately, or as one of a series of kits, which simplify the selection process for many common configurations.A Modular Windshield Kit is comprised of the following three main components: Modular Suspension, Modular Windshield and Windjammer.
Modular Suspension
Our suspensions provides complete isolation against handling noise and cable-borne noises, by supporting the microphone in a cradle arrangement using Lyre suspension webs.
Windshield
The Windshield basket completely surrounds the microphone and its connector, sliding onto the Modular Suspension to provide up to 30dB of wind noise attenuation. This is the first layer of windshielding protection for your microphone.
Windjammer
The Windjammer introduced by Rycote in 1985, is high quality synthetic fur covers, designed to fit perfectly over the Modular Windshield. It gives an additional 20dB of wind noise attenuation. Fitted with a drawstring & toggle to allow snug and easy fitting. Modular Windshield Kits, including zipped Windjammer are also available on request.

Finding the correct Windshield Kit will depend on the type, length and diameter of the microphone.
Because the whole microphone is encased in a windshield basket the total length of the microphone including the XLR cable must be accounted for, this means adding 50mm to the length of the mic.
For a windshield to work effectively the microphone should be mounted centrally within the windshield, therefore the microphone + XLR length should approximately equal the windshield body length. The body length of our windshields is the total length, excluding end caps.
