Orders for Delivery
We are currently processing and receiving an extremely high volume of orders. We have recently increased the size of our team and are processing orders as quickly and as safely as possible and appreciate your patience during these times.
StarTrack our courier delivery service partner is experiencing severe service and delivery shortfalls. This has resulted in both extended delays on package deliveries, and inaccurate or delayed tracking information once packages are handed onto the courier service. The StarTrack customer service team may not be aware of this issue and may provide inaccurate information. Unfortunately, these issues are out of our control.
If your order has been marked "DISPATCHED", this means your order has been collected by our StarTrack driver and is on its way to you.
Please Note: If you have selected an “Express” delivery option, please be aware that this is a service offered by StarTrack and only applies once your package has been passed onto the courier. This service does not relate to Videoguys Australia's internal order processing. We can not refund the shipping cost if the delays are caused by StarTrack’s service.

Behaviour
Videoguys Australia accepts zero tolerance for abusive behaviour in written, verbal, and face to face communication. Any such behaviour will result in the termination of communication and/or removal from our premises.
We understand your frustration and concern and all of our new, existing, and temporary team members are working to their best abilities during this difficult and unsure time. Inflammatory behaviour towards them is unnecessary and unaccepted.

Using our online system to create a quotation which is valid for 14 days.
We developed a simple self service system that allows Government Departments, Educational institutes, and Corporate companies, to obtain a quick quotation request, by following these simple steps.
- To create an Online Quotation, add the product(s) you wish a quote on to your shopping cart as if you were placing an order.
- After adding all the items to your shopping cart click "View Shopping Cart"
- On the Shopping Cart Page, instead of selecting the "Proceed to Checkout" button, click the "Request a Quote" button instead. (see below example)
You will then be redirected to the Login Page (if you're not already logged in) and you will be asked to log into your account. (see below)
If you don't have an account you will then need to create one, at this step. We require this information to capture all your details, so we can provide you with accurate shipping costs, and also if we needed to discuss particulars of the request with you.
Once you have logged into or created your account, you will then be re-directed to the Quotations Submission Page where you can submit your quote request.
All the items in your cart will be visible on this page (see below). You can also add any comments to the request, and select what your preferred method of payment will be.
Once the quote has been submitted, a Quote ID will be applied to it, (Shown as QU-XXXXX) which you can reference in any correspondence with us. A Confirmation of the request will also be emailed to you.
Once received by us, we will review your request and return to you with our most competitive quote.
Please allow up to 24hrs for Processing.
You will get a follow-up e-mail (Subject will read: Your Quote, QU-XXXXX has been completed).
Once you review your quote, you can "Accept"it via logging into your Account Center or modifying it by calling us during business hours.

Love the little mike, so clear even in the wind.
I purchased this from the VideoGuys to use on my Sony A7r-II and was not sure if it would work properly. It does ! It gives excellent quality sound, even in the wind, and great volume, controlled within the camera.
It is a great addition if you are doing video work on the camera and not too intrusive on the camera. Thanks guys.

Good Mono Sound In A Small Package
I needed a small mono external mic for a gig on an Sony ARII to grab basic sound, needed to be better than internal mic. Did the job perfectly as camera was able to power the mic fine. Then tried it on other setups - many cameras refused to power the mic - they would need a mic with an internal battery. Also tried with the OSMO hand held, and here, it worked half the time. Sometimes it would record fine, but other times got massive amounts of system noise - which other external mics did not create - so the VideoMicro and OSMO combination is not reliable. Note also the windshield is pretty basic and wont stop wind noise as well as some other more expensive Rode systems.

Please contact Rode Microphones on 02 9648 5855 & transfer to their support extension. As cameras & phones are constantly being updated - it is hard to know 100% without checking with them first.

This microphone won't work with any smartphone. Please look at the Rode VideoMic ME model. As this is designed for smartphones.
